Colin Leong

Hi! My name is Colin Leong; I’m a Construction Management major. Learn by doing, that’s the Cal Poly model and my life model! I like to cook, bake, mess around with electronics, and fix computers. I’ve been in CCF for many years; it’s my family here in SLO. Our doors are opening and anyone can join my family.
Favorite Verse: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. “Ecclesiastes 3:11

Hi! I’m a 2nd year Dairy Science major. Yes, cows. I play with them. I love to sing and play sports for fun! My grandma’s chicken broth is the best thing ever, especially on a cold day. ^_^ Interesting fact: I like to rearrange my room a lot.
Philippians 1:9-11 “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and in depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.”
Paul Materum
My name is Paul Materum but many of my friends call me Cole. I am a 4th year Chemisty major. I am half Filipino and half Chinese. I still cannot believe that I am a 4th year. I still feel like I moved down here yesterday. I feel like God brought me to CCF when I needed them most. I love piano, chess, sewing, and PAPAYAS! Hopefully, I get to meet you and grow together with you towards Christ.

Hey there! I’m a third year Industrial Engineer that recently transferred majors. Finally an upperclassman YEEE! But don’t let that scare you off, i’m really not that far off from remembering my first days in a foreign strange land called “SLO”. I enjoy tennis, messing around on the piano, finding the most simple ways to cook creatively, and finding out more about CCFer’s! I’m happy to say i’m finding community and enjoying this home away from home. I definitely wish the same for you too. Hopefully i’ll find (no make!) the time to get to know you through this awesome college experience we’ll share together. If you wanna talk, just holla :]
~He is our hope. We follow Him not only for what he has done in the past but for what He is doing today. We follow Him because of what He will one day do!

Hello! I’m a fifth year graduate student studying Electrical Engineering. I enjoy playing ping-pong, basketball, guitar, singing, and playing video games. Most students live on-campus their first year but rather than living in the dorms my freshman year, God placed me in the CCF ministry house my first year. From the beginning, God has had a hand on maturing my relationship with Him and little by little, I’ve learned to be thankful for the things God placed in my life. I’m sure there are a lot of things that God has placed in your life as well, whether you know it or not! If you are willing, I would love to exchange stories over lunch. Come shoot me an email: rickwong.ee@gmail.com
